Child safety promise

A listening space
without the pull.

AB Kids removes the social and commercial features that children do not need, then gives responsible adults practical control.

What children will not find here

No advertising

No ads, sponsored messages or behavioural advertising around children’s content.

No strangers or social contact

No chat, comments, direct messages, friend requests, follower counts or public child profiles.

No outside entertainment links

The child listening experience does not send children to social networks, video platforms or other entertainment services.

No endless feed

No attention-maximising social feed. Autoplay is off by default and can only be enabled by the responsible adult.

What grown-ups control

  • Private child profiles identified by family-chosen nicknames.
  • Up to four named family devices.
  • Video access, autoplay, daily listening limits and quiet times.
  • Listening history and the ability to hide individual catalogue items.
  • Device logout and disabling from the master family account.

How content and information are protected

  • Every published song and video is reviewed before release.
  • Public visitors receive short samples, not full recordings.
  • AB Kids does not sell children’s personal information.
  • Institutional sponsors see licence totals, not children’s profiles, devices or listening history.
  • Administrative actions affecting access are restricted and recorded for accountability.

Our approach

Safety is a product decision, not a badge.

Our controls and private-by-design approach are informed by Australian online-safety and early-learning principles. This is not a claim of government approval or certification.

Tell us about a safety concern

A responsible adult, educator or institution can report a content, privacy or safety concern to hello@abkids.media. Include the song or page name and enough information for us to investigate, but do not email unnecessary information about a child.
