Information we handle
AB Kids may hold responsible-adult account details such as name, email address, address and verification status; family-chosen child profile nicknames and age settings; named device and access records; parent-control settings; limited listening activity needed for history and simultaneous-stream controls; subscription, entitlement and institutional sponsorship records; and support or audit records.
How we use it
We use this information to verify and secure adult accounts, provide family access, apply parent controls, manage devices and playback, process or confirm membership, support families, prevent misuse and keep operational records.
Payments and media delivery
Payment providers process card or PayPal information. AB Kids stores provider references and membership status rather than full payment credentials. Media-delivery providers process the technical requests required to play catalogue content.
Children and institutional sponsors
Child profiles are private and are not public. Institutional sponsors receive aggregate licence information and do not receive child profiles, device names or listening history through the institutional programme.
No sale or advertising use
AB Kids does not sell children’s personal information and does not use children’s activity for behavioural advertising.
Security, retention and choices
We use access restrictions, protected credentials and operational logging appropriate to the service. Information is retained while needed to operate accounts, meet legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Responsible adults can manage profiles and devices in their account and may contact us about access, correction or account closure.
